The SMME Accelerator Program, organized by the Knysna Municipality in partnership with Standard Bank, offers local small, medium, and micro enterprises (SMMEs) in Knysna a unique 12-week opportunity to enhance their business capabilities through tailored support, networking, and access to funding, specifically designed for black-owned businesses looking to innovate and grow within the South African market.

Eligibility Criteria

• Business must be 51% or more black owned
• Must be a South African citizen
• Trading within South Africa
• Established business with annual turnover of R50,000 to R50 million
• Operational for a minimum of 6 months to 5 years
• Main applicant must be a director with shareholding
• Must have a valid B-BBEE certificate with at least 51% black ownership
• Must be based in Knysna
• Must have transportation to training venue
• Must have reliable laptop and internet access
