Bio-Based and Biodegradable Delivery Systems for Fertilising Products to Reduce Microplastics Pollution & Promote Soil Health

The European Commission is seeking proposals for innovative bio-based and biodegradable delivery systems for fertilizing products to reduce microplastics pollution, promote soil health, and contribute to the EU's Bioeconomy Strategy and R&I Missions.

Benefits

• Successful proposals will contribute to the implementation of the EU Bioeconomy Strategy, the updated EU Industrial strategy, and R&I Missions related to soil health and ocean restoration. Funding of €7 million is available for projects focusing on bio-based and biodegradable delivery systems for fertilizing products.

Eligibility Criteria

• Legal entities from any country, including non-associated third countries or international organizations, are eligible to participate as long as they meet the conditions in the Horizon Europe Regulation. Entities eligible for funding must be established in EU Member States, Overseas Countries and Territories linked to the Member States, or countries associated with Horizon Europe.
