The Tokyo Financial Innovation Award, commissioned by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, invites global participants to propose creative and practical solutions to specific financial issues in Tokyo, with the top three solutions receiving the Governor's Special Prize for Green Finance and a range of support to refine and commercialize their ideas.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must address key challenges in sustainability or ESG space, have a business relevance for Japan, and submit their application in either English or Japanese. Projects must also demonstrate significant innovation within the competition's eligible themes, which include investments for sustainability and business activities for sustainability.
