The ARLEM Award for Young Mediterranean Entrepreneurs, organized by the European Committee of the Regions, invites nominations from young entrepreneurs aged up to 35 who have been running their businesses for at least three years and are supported by local or regional authorities in eligible Mediterranean countries. This prestigious award aims to showcase successful examples of youth entrepreneurship, inspire others, and highlight the crucial role that local authorities play in fostering a supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem. By recognizing the achievements of young entrepreneurs, the award seeks to encourage job creation and positive local economic development, while also promoting the importance of social progress and innovation within the region. Eligible countries include Albania, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Palestine, Tunisia, and Türkiye. The application deadline is set for May 15, 2025, providing a valuable opportunity for young entrepreneurs to gain recognition and support for their impactful work.
