The SXSW EDU Launch Startup Competition invites early-stage startups in the education sector to apply for a chance to showcase their innovative business ideas, gain exposure, and connect with industry experts and investors, with various awards available to recognize impactful solutions, all culminating in an event held in Austin, Texas from March 9-12, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
- Early-stage startups in the early education market
- Must have a management team and a public website
- Must demonstrate a sustainable business model and user attraction metrics
- Total funding raised must not exceed $8 million
- Each applicant can only participate in one SXSW startup event
- Previous finalists or semifinalists of SXSW EDU Launch cannot apply
