The Sustainable Gender Equality Champions Prize 2025 invites research performing organisations and higher education establishments from eligible EU and associated countries to showcase their impactful Gender Equality Plans, with winners receiving €100,000 each from a total prize pool of €400,000, aimed at fostering a community dedicated to institutional transformation and raising awareness of gender equality in academia and research.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a legal entity (public or private body)
• Must be a research performing organisation, including higher education establishments (e.g., universities)
• Must be established in an eligible country (EU Member States, including overseas territories, or non-EU countries associated with Horizon Europe)
• Previous EU or Euratom prize recipients for the same activities are ineligible
