Eligibility Criteria

• The Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay NIF Book Prize is awarded to book-length studies on any aspect of modern and contemporary India, first published in the previous calendar year. Authors of any nationality can apply, and works can be originally written in English or translated into English from another language. Authors whose titles have been supported by the New India Foundation Fellowship are not eligible for nomination.
