The Canada-Singapore Collaborative Industrial Research and Development initiative invites organizations from both countries to form consortia for innovative R&D projects, offering significant funding opportunities to eligible Canadian SMEs, aimed at fostering commercialization in various high-tech sectors.

Benefits

• Eligible Canadian SMEs may receive up to 50% reimbursement of project costs
• Maximum funding of $600,000 CAD over 12 to 36 months

Eligibility Criteria

• Organizations from Canada and Singapore forming project consortia
• Canadian SMEs must be incorporated, profit-oriented, with 500 or fewer employees
• Must pursue growth through innovative technology-driven products or services
• Must have a differentiated technology with global commercial potential
• Preference for SMEs with 15+ employees, prior commercialization, and >$500,000 CAD annual revenue
• Singapore applicants must be registered in Singapore, locally owned, and financially viable
