The BIPOC Small Business Accelerator by PeopleFund offers Texas-based entrepreneurs access to capital, education, and resources to foster business growth, with potential grants of up to $5,000, mentorship, and tailored coaching, open to all regardless of race, gender, or creed.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be based in Texas
• Businesses or participants should be located in or serve low-to-moderate-income areas
• Open to both start-ups and existing businesses
• Applicants must support loan repayment through cash flow
• Meet credit and lending standards; no bankruptcies in the last 5 years
• U.S. citizens or permanent residents only
• Cannot be involved in ongoing litigation or past due on federal obligations
• Total derogatory marks cannot exceed 10% of loans up to $5,000
• Excluded industries include adult entertainment, gambling, real estate investments, federally illegal activities, and multi-level marketing
• Applicants should not have felony-level or morally turpitudinous crimes.
