The Global Startup Acceleration Program 2024 is seeking venture capital firms and investors with experience working with international startups to invest in Japanese startups and receive funding from JETRO, while also gaining access to a strong global ecosystem and mentor network.

• Selected participants will have the opportunity to invest in Japanese startups and receive funding from JETRO. They will also have access to a strong global ecosystem and mentor network, as well as the potential for subsequent investments.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be a venture capital firm or investor with experience working with international startups and a dedicated investment team or department. They must also have adaptability and flexibility to various markets and not have formed a Japan Fund. Preferred specifications include project implementation ability, an extensive and diverse open mentor network, and strong connections to top-tier VC and CVC firms.
