Ignite Ideas Fund

The Ignite Ideas Fund, organized by the Queensland Government, offers financial support to small to medium businesses in Queensland with high-growth potential, aiming to commercialize innovative products or services at the viable product stage, with funding tiers up to $200,000 and additional business development support available through the Ignite+ program.

Benefits

• Tier 1 funding up to $100,000 for projects up to 12 months
• Tier 2 funding greater than $100,000 and up to $200,000 for projects up to 24 months
• Additional business development support through Ignite+ program including sales and marketing, customer acquisition, competitor analysis, legal support, and access to networks.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a business headquartered in Queensland
• No more than 50 full-time-equivalent employees
• Not a subsidiary of a group with more than 50 employees
• Must not have received funding for the proposed project from any government
• Must be registered for GST
• Tier 1 applicants must not have received Ignite Ideas Fund grant previously and must contribute at least 20% cash
• Tier 2 applicants must not have received tier 2 grant previously and must contribute cash equal to the funding sought.
