The GenAI for Good Challenge, organized by IEEE Humanitarian Technologies and the International Telecommunication Union, invites innovative teams and technologists to apply for funding and support to develop open-source generative AI solutions addressing health, agriculture, and climate challenges in Global South countries, with a focus on social impact and collaboration to achieve UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Eligibility Criteria

• Focused on innovative teams and technologists using generative AI to solve health, agriculture, and climate challenges in Global South countries
• Must develop open-source generative AI solutions based on real use cases identified by ITU and UN agencies
• Solutions should support UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)
• Emphasis on social impact rather than commercial profit
