The Indian government has initiated a national network of 21 integrated biotechnology centers aimed at providing shared high-performance biomanufacturing infrastructure for startups, SMEs, and academic institutions, facilitating technology transfer from research to market, and promoting sustainable development in the biotechnology sector.
