The USADF Off-Grid Energy Challenge is open to African energy companies and offers the opportunity to receive up to $250,000 in grant capital and potential support and resources from USADF.

Benefits

• Selected enterprises will receive funding in the form of grant capital of up to $250,000. Participants will also have the opportunity to showcase their off-grid energy solutions and potentially receive support and resources from USADF.

Eligibility Criteria

• Majority African-owned and managed private companies and organizations (including non-profit and not-for-profit) registered and operating in Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo (South Kivu), Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritania, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. Applicants must also complete the application template and submit all required attachments by the deadline.
