The Ocean Startup Challenge invites early-stage ocean technology companies from diverse backgrounds to apply for funding and support, aiming to foster innovative solutions that address global oceanic challenges while leveraging Canada's rich ocean resources, with selected startups receiving up to $25,000 in awards and the opportunity to join a network of like-minded innovators.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to early-stage ocean technology companies with TRL 6 and below
• Must be pre-revenue (pilot revenue allowed)
• Maximum of $250,000 in investment
• Applicants must register an entity in a Canadian province/territory or federally
• Innovators from rural, Indigenous, and urban communities encouraged
