The Women Tech.EU Initiative by the European Commission aims to support early-stage women-led deep tech startups in Europe, providing funding of up to EUR 75,000 per third party, with a focus on enhancing gender diversity and empowering women entrepreneurs to address critical societal challenges in the tech industry.

Benefits

• Funding of up to EUR 75,000 per third party, with an indicative budget of EUR 15 million. Project duration of two years, extendable for another year based on achieving key milestones. Support for women-led companies that have not received substantial financial backing.

Eligibility Criteria

• Early-stage deep tech startups led by women, registered in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country for at least six months, founded or co-founded by women in top management positions such as CEO, CTO, or CSO. All deep tech domains are eligible, with a focus on gender balance and the role of women in the startup.
