The SPIE Startup Challenge offers entrepreneurs in optics and photonics the opportunity to pitch their business ideas, gain exposure and support, and potentially secure funding to take their business to the next level.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have an optics or photonics technology or application for a viable new business
• Must select one of two tracks based on development stage: pre-seed or seed
• Revenue must be below $500,000 for seed stage
