Eligibility Criteria

• The prize will be awarded to a currently working journalist (or a team of journalists working on an in-depth series) who has demonstrated excellence in rule of law reporting
• The journalist’s work will be judged on the initiative and courage of the journalist, the quality of the coverage, and how effectively it has contributed to advancing the rule of law and awareness of its foundational importance
• Nominees can be from any country for work published in any language, but all entries must be in English or translated into English.
