Ignite Spark Program

About

The Ignite Spark Program, organized by the Queensland Government, offers funding between $50,000 to $75,000 to support small to medium businesses in Queensland that are developing innovative products or services, with a focus on validating and refining prototypes for market readiness, while also providing additional business development support through the Ignite+ Program.

Benefits

• Funding of $50,000 to $75,000 (excluding GST)
• Funding available for projects for up to 12 months
• Matched funding contribution required (20% for South East Queensland applicants, 10% for Indigenous businesses and/or applicants from Queensland regions)
• Eligibility for additional business development support through the Ignite+ Program

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a business based in Queensland and registered for GST
• No more than 50 employees
• Must have an existing prototype for a product or service that is scalable
• Product or service must be ready to be validated and not currently in the market
• Cannot have received funding for the project from any level of government
