The Catalytic Funding program, organized by DEG Impulse and GIZ, offers start-ups in developing and emerging economies the opportunity to secure non-dilutive capital of EUR 100,000 to scale their innovative business models, provided they meet specific eligibility criteria, including operational status and a viable business plan, while contributing to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Eligibility Criteria

• Company must be registered in the target country or plan to register prior to investment
• Must be privately owned and profit-oriented
• At least one annual financial statement required
• Viable business plan and financial plan must be available
• Company must be operational with first revenues from activities (Proof of Concept)
• Maximum of EUR 2 million in funding acquired to date
