About

TIH IIT Bombay offers seed support of up to ₹1 crore as equity or CCPS, plus mentoring and lab access, to IoT-focused startups at TRL 6 or above developing autonomous systems in manufacturing/logistics, agriculture/infrastructure inspection, healthcare, and animal husbandry.

Eligibility Criteria

• Mandatory: DPIIT-recognized startup, or eligible to be recognized with an undertaking
• Mandatory: at least 51% Indian promoter shareholding at the time of application as per Companies Act 2013 and SEBI (ICDR) Regulations 2018
• Mandatory: technology at the core, within the IoT domain
• Mandatory: product at Technology Readiness Level 6 or above, meaning demonstrated in a relevant environment
• Mandatory: no investment from any other NM-ICPS Technology Innovation Hub; prior grant support from a TIH does not affect eligibility
• Preference: startups creating innovative solutions in TIH IIT Bombay's technology focus areas

Participation Commitments

• Applications must be submitted online through the official application form
• Submit Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association, PAN card, DPIIT recognition certificate or eligibility undertaking, annual financial statements for the last 3 years if applicable, shareholding pattern on a fully diluted basis on company letterhead, budget details and milestone-based fund requirement in the prescribed format, and a pitch presentation in the prescribed format
• Shortlisted applicants may be called for a pitch presentation
• Application deadline is 22 November 2026
• Selected startups receive seed support up to ₹1 crore as equity or CCPS, released against agreed milestones
