The Department of Science & Technology in India is inviting educational institutions to submit proposals for Inclusive Technology Business Incubators, offering funding support to establish incubators that will convert innovative ideas into startups and create a culture of innovation-driven entrepreneurship in the region.

Benefits

• Selected institutions will receive funding support of up to Rs. 500 lakhs for 3 years to establish an inclusive Technology Business Incubator (i-TBI). The initiative aims to convert innovative ideas into startups, build a vibrant innovation ecosystem, and enable networking between academia, investors, mentors, industries, and other institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational institutions in India interested in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship culture among students, faculties, entrepreneurs, and nearby communities are eligible to apply. The institutions should primarily be from the technical domain and willing to create a culture of innovation-driven entrepreneurship.
