    Eligibility Criteria

    • Open to UIC faculty and researchers
    • Must have a technology disclosure on file with the Office of Technology Management by July 30
    • Proposals must focus on early-stage innovations with strong commercial potential
    • Projects should address significant societal needs while creating commercial impact
    • Technologies can include therapeutics, diagnostics, medical devices, digital health, and software

    Participation Commitments

    • Must discuss the project with an Office of Technology Management Technology Manager prior to submission
    • Technology disclosure must be submitted by July 30 for consideration
    • Must meet project milestones to be eligible for follow-on funding
    • Proposals must demonstrate strong commercial potential and societal impact
