TANSEED 8.0 is a seed funding initiative by StartupTN aimed at supporting early-stage startups in Tamil Nadu, India, particularly those focused on green technology, rural impact, and women-led ventures, offering substantial financial support and a year-long accelerator program with mentorship and networking opportunities.

Benefits

• Up to ₹1.5 million for green tech, rural impact, and women-led startups
• Up to ₹1 million for other industry projects
• Successful applicants will enter a one-year accelerator program with mentorship, priority access to events, and domestic and international delegations
• Previous rounds have supported 169 startups with multiple funding opportunities

Eligibility Criteria

• Startups must be registered in Tamil Nadu
• Must be listed with StartupTN and recognized by DPIIT
• Focus on innovative projects with strong employment creation, social impact, or wealth creation potential
• Cannot be a spin-off of an existing business, a subsidiary of another company, or a branch of a foreign company
• Funds can be used for prototype development, market readiness, or pilot production
