About

The 14th Innovation Icon Program, organized by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, offers significant credit guarantees and support for South Korean startups engaged in innovative technologies, particularly in green technology, aiming to scale their businesses and mitigate financing risks, with a focus on fostering future core industries.

Benefits

• Up to 20 billion KRW (approximately $14.8 million) in credit guarantees (not direct funding)
• Three-year credit guarantee
• Minimum guarantee fee rate (0.5%)
• Additional guarantee fee support through partner banks
• Financial and non-financial services such as consulting and overseas market expansion support

Eligibility Criteria

• South Korean companies
• Engaged in new industries
• Established for 2 to 12 years
• Must meet one of the following: annual sales over 1 billion KRW with an average sales growth rate over 10% in the last two years
• or have received over 3 billion KRW in investment from institutional investors
• Companies with green technology will receive additional points
