The qBIG Prize, sponsored by Quantum Exponential, is a competition aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups in the UK and Ireland that are innovating in the quantum technology sector, offering a £10,000 cash prize, extensive mentoring, and access to valuable business networks to help accelerate their growth and market presence.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be an SME incorporated in the UK or Ireland
• Must be taking innovative products based on quantum science into the quantum sector
• Must provide a sound business plan aiming to make a profit
• Must have proof of validation of a need for the product
• Must show how the prize money would add value to the organization
• Must intend to seek external equity funding
