An accelerator program providing funding and mentorship to startups focused on strengthening their intellectual property strategies. Participants can access significant financial support for legal costs and receive guidance from experts in the field. This opportunity is designed for businesses in Canada that are looking to enhance their IP knowledge and strategy.

Benefits

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a registered business in BC, Yukon, NWT, or Nunavut
• Must have a strong IP strategy in place
• Must demonstrate IP knowledge by fulfilling one of the following education requirements: Proof of completion of the IP Certification Program Level 1, Level 2, or equivalent training
• Proof of completion of the IP Pathways – IP Certification Program
• Proof of completion Level 2 of IP Assist
• Proof of having at least one in-house IP expert

Participation Commitments

• Application must be submitted by June 15, 4pm PT
• Proposed work must start AFTER April 1, 2026
• Startups will be informed of their application’s status by the end of July, 2026
