A national grant initiative designed to support the next generation of professional haircare founders with capital, mentorship, and networking opportunities, specifically targeting underrepresented entrepreneurs in the beauty industry. Selected businesses will receive funding, strategic support, and visibility to help them grow and succeed in professional distribution channels.

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently operate in the hair care space and aspire to expand into professional distribution channels
• U.S.-based with annual revenue under $2.5M
• At least 51% owned by underserved founder(s)
• Ready to share their story and engage in mentorship and brand-building opportunities
• Able to travel to NYC for the in-person program kick-off on October 20, 2026

Participation Commitments

• Must attend an in-person kickoff event at amika HQ in New York City on October 20, 2026
• Must participate in a spring 2027 industry trade show
• Available three times a month virtually for the mentorship program from October to February
• Commit to sharing their story and engaging in brand-building opportunities
