FCI4Africa Open Call 2026

About

A funding program offering up to €50,000 for innovative food systems projects aimed at enhancing agricultural practices and sustainability in Africa. Eligible organizations can propose scalable solutions that will be implemented within the continent, benefiting from a total funding pool of €400,000. Participants will also gain access to international networks and support for real-world testing of their innovations.

Eligibility Criteria

• Be a single organization or entity (consortia not allowed)
• Be a startup, SME, university, research institution, technology provider, or innovation-driven organization
• Demonstrate capacity to develop and scale innovative solutions
• Propose projects to be implemented within Africa.

Participation Commitments

• Projects will run from November 2026 to October 2027
• Follow three phases: Design Phase, Development Phase, Validation Phase
• Ensure submission is completed before June 30, 2026.
