Eligibility Criteria

• Open to interdisciplinary teams addressing the Genesis Mission National Science and Technology Challenges
• Teams must include institutions from at least two categories: DOE/NNSA National Laboratory, Industry, IHE/Non-profit
• Phase I applications are limited to a single focus area
• Only one application as the lead institution per focus area is allowed
• Teams must articulate a vision for their scientific and/or applied energy initiatives.

Participation Commitments

• Must submit an Internal Expression of Interest (EOI) by March 27, 2026
• Must participate in coordination activities across the Genesis Mission
• Teams must provide information on project requirements and best practices as requested
• Phase I teams will undergo a go/no go review after 6 months.
