Techstars Startup Weekend Athens is an immersive 54-hour competition where individuals interested in entrepreneurship can collaborate, learn, and innovate, benefiting from mentorship, meals, and networking opportunities, all while developing their startup ideas in a supportive environment.

Eligibility Criteria

• 🌍 Geographic Eligibility
• Participants must be able to attend in-person in Athens, Ohio, USA.
• 👥 Background Diversity
• Open to individuals of any background, major, and age interested in entrepreneurship.
• 📚 Learning Willingness
• No prior entrepreneurial experience is required, but participants must have a willingness to learn.

Participation Commitments

• 📍 Physical Attendance
• Must attend the event in-person from February 27 to March 1, 2026.
• ⏰ Time Commitment
• Participants should be available for the full duration of the event.
