About
The Startup Refugees Entrepreneurship Awards 2026 supports underrepresented refugee and migrant women entrepreneurs in Finland by providing seed funding, mentorship, and network access to help them build and grow their businesses.
Benefits
- 💰Award funding — 3–5 entrepreneurs will receive €5,000–€10,000 each to help start, strengthen, or grow their businesses
- 🤝Mentorship — Access to mentoring support from experienced entrepreneurs

Eligibility Criteria
- Female entrepreneur with an underrepresented immigrant/refugee background
- Have lived in Finland for a maximum of 10 years
- Live in Finland with a residence permit that allows entrepreneurship
- Be 18 years or older
- Be a founder, co-founder, or planning to start a business
Participation Commitments
- Commitment to building a long-term business
- Must be actively working on business operations if already established
- Must demonstrate ambition and readiness to implement a business plan
