Nordic Startup Challenge 2027

About

Hamburg’s chamber of commerce will bring ten startups from selected Northern European countries to a three-day fintech, regtech and insurtech pitch and networking programme on 22–24 March 2027, with applications due 29 November 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a startup from one of the eligible countries: Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, or Ireland.
• The programme is focused on fintech, regtech and insurtech.
• Selection is by jury based on innovation and uniqueness of the solution, market potential and growth prospects, expertise and execution capability of the founding team, and quality and persuasiveness of the presentation.
• The jury also considers economic viability and relevance to current social and economic challenges.
• No other mandatory eligibility requirements are publicly stated.

Target Region

Applicant startups must be from Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, or Ireland.
