GENESIS Investment 2.0 is an investment initiative by MeitY aimed at providing matching investment support to eligible startups in Tier-II and Tier-III cities in India, offering up to ₹50 Lakhs in funding and investor connectivity to help scale their businesses.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a registered Indian Private Limited Company
• Minimum 51% Indian ownership
• Must be registered in a Tier-II or Tier-III city
• Must have a valid DPIIT certificate
• Must have a technology-based product/software

Participation Commitments

• Startups must submit information and supporting documents covering their startup profile, business, funding/investment status, technology, financial performance, and proposed use of funds
• Applications undergo eligibility assessment and preliminary screening
