The Start-up India Seed Fund Scheme, initiated by the Indian government, offers funding support of up to ₹500,000 to DPIIT-recognized startups established for no more than two years, aiming to assist early-stage projects in validating concepts, developing prototypes, and commercializing products, with a focus on technology-driven solutions across various sectors, particularly those with social impact.

Eligibility Criteria
- Startups must be recognized by DPIIT
- Must be established for no more than two years
- Must have a commercially viable product or service with market adaptability
- Must be technology-driven and solve specific problems
- Priority given to innovations in social impact, waste management, food processing, water resource management, biotechnology, financial inclusion, education, healthcare, energy, agriculture, defense, space, mobility, railways, oil and gas, textiles
- Founders must hold over 51% equity
- Cannot have received more than ₹100,000 in other government support (non-monetary support like awards or subsidies do not count)
