About

An xAI program that gives approved startups promotional usage credits and support across Grok, Grok Build, Grok Bot and the Grok API, subject to discretionary review and the Program Terms.

Benefits

• 💳Usage credits
  Approved startups receive promotional usage credits for Grok, Grok Build, Grok Bot and the Grok API, with the amount and structure stated in the approval communication and not guaranteed by program-page targets.
• ⏳Target duration
  The program page says xAI aims to offer six to twelve months of real usage, but the Program Terms state that typical or target credit amounts are informational and not a commitment.
• 💵Tranche release
• 20% of credits is released when approved and the remaining 80% is released automatically once the startup is up and running, subject to the approval communication.
• 🧑‍💻 Startup support
  Participants can receive hands-on onboarding when needed and a direct line to the startups team as they grow.
• 🤝Partner-referred minimums
  A startup applying through or referred by a VC or accelerator Program Partner may have a guaranteed minimum credit amount only if its application is approved under the Program Terms.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant company or organization must submit through the official Program Page and may have only one pending Application per Company Group at a time.
• The individual submitting must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind the applicant company.
• Applicants must provide accurate, complete, current and non-misleading information on funding, investors, revenue, AI/LLM spend, customer traction, team size and Team Account details.
• Applicants must disclose all promotional credits previously received by the Company Group from SpaceXAI or its Affiliates; the Program is intended for companies that have not already received significant promotional credits.
• Not eligible if the Company Group or any director, officer, employee, agent or other person acting on its behalf is on applicable economic sanctions or export control lists.
• Not eligible if the Company Group is organized, resident or located in, or is an agency or instrumentality of the government of, any country or territory targeted by comprehensive U.S. sanctions or embargoes.
• Employees, contractors, agents and representatives, and their immediate families, of SpaceXAI, Anysphere, Inc., Space Exploration Technologies Corp., Tesla, Inc., X Corp., or their parents, subsidiaries and divisions are not eligible.
• Only one grant of Credits is available per Company Group; multiple applications, splitting the business across entities, accounts or domains, or creating new entities or accounts to obtain more Credits are not allowed.
• SpaceXAI evaluates applications on factors including funding, investors, revenue, current AI spend, traction, team size, intended use, Program capacity and verification results; these are discretionary factors, not stated minimum thresholds.
• If requested, applicants must provide verification information or supporting documents within 10 days, or the application may be declined or approval withdrawn.
• Applicants declined may reapply once their circumstances change.

Participation Commitments

• Apply through the form on the Program Page.
• Accept the Grok for Startups Program Terms when submitting the application.
• Have only one pending Application per Company Group at a time.
• Provide accurate, complete, current and non-misleading application information and promptly update material changes, including a change of control.
• Disclose all promotional credits previously received from SpaceXAI or its Affiliates.
• Provide requested verification information or supporting documents within 10 days if asked.
• Use Credits only for the Team Account and for the applicant company's own business use; Credits may not be sold, transferred, assigned, shared, bartered or licensed.
• Do not submit multiple applications, split the business across entities, accounts or domains, or create new entities or accounts to obtain more Credits.
• Credits expire six months after they are applied to the Team Account unless the approval communication states otherwise, and unused Credits are forfeited on the expiration date.
• Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and SpaceXAI does not commit to a review or issuance timeline.
• Participants may withdraw by emailing startups@x.ai.
