Eligibility Criteria

• Open to all small businesses in Louisiana
• Business owners must be U.S. citizens or legal residents
• At least 51% of the business must be owned by individuals with a net worth under $400,000
• The business must have a principal place of business in Louisiana
• The business must anticipate creating new full-time jobs

Participation Commitments

• Must complete the online application process
• Certification must be renewed every five years
• Managing owners must work full-time in the business
• Must provide required information to maintain certification
