Venture Catalyst Program 2026

About

A mentorship program designed for UNC-Chapel Hill graduate students and postdocs, providing hands-on experience in supporting startups through business development activities, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Participants will engage in real-world projects while committing to a structured schedule that enhances their entrepreneurial skills and knowledge.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate student or postdoc
• Applicants must have a passion for supporting startups
• Applicants must commit five hours per week from August 2026 through April 2027

Participation Commitments

• Participants must attend CareerWell courses in Fall 2026
• Participants must commit five hours per week from August 2026 through April 2027
• Participants must engage in primary market research, development plan creation, and other business development activities
