The UNICEF StartUp Lab Accelerator Program 2025 is a six-month accelerator designed for registered tech startups in Ghana that aim to create social impact through technology, offering funding, mentorship, and access to the global UNICEF network, with a focus on measurable social outcomes and support for open-source initiatives and female leadership.

Benefits

• Prototype development funding (historically around 75,000 GHS) and potential scaling funds (approximately 150,000 GHS) for some businesses
  Opportunity to create open-source digital public goods (DPG) and expand international impact

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a registered startup in Ghana
• Must operate within Ghana
• Technology must be core to the business model
• At least one year of operation required
• Business model must demonstrate measurable social impact aligned with UN SDGs
• Preference for open-source projects and female founders/co-founders
• Must be able to participate fully in the six-month accelerator program (online/offline)
