Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a U.S.-based public charity with valid 501(c)(3) status
- Annual operating budget must be between $500,000 and $10 million
- Project must primarily operate within the U.S.
- No regranting of funds is allowed; funds must be used directly by the organization
- No fiscally sponsored projects or departments within larger institutions
Participation Commitments
- Must submit a project narrative and budget justification with the application
- Must define success metrics and a plan for sustainability after the grant
- Must include community voices in shaping the project idea
- Must demonstrate a clear problem that AI could help solve
