About

The WEscalate Initiative FY 2026–27 is an incubator and accelerator program organized by the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society, aimed at non-profit organizations that support women entrepreneurs in Karnataka, offering substantial financial support, mentorship, and resources to enhance their growth and market presence.

Benefits

• 💰Financial Support
  Up to ₹200,000 for each incubation batch and ₹300,000 for acceleration batches as government funding.
• 🎓Mentorship Program
  Access to mentorship, training, and resources for market and investment connections for women-led startups.
• 🏢Additional Funding
  Top projects can receive additional deployment funds of ₹87,000 for the top three projects in each batch.
• 📈Capital Gains
  Enhancement of capital gains for participating startups.

Eligibility Criteria

• 🌍 Geographic Eligibility
• Open to non-profit organizations located in Karnataka, India.
• 🏢 Experience Requirement
• Must have experience in incubation or acceleration and provide entrepreneurial support services.
• 💼 Network Requirement
• Must have a network of mentors and investors along with project management capabilities.
• 👥 Focus on Women Entrepreneurs
• While focused on women entrepreneurs, there are no specific restrictions on the startup sectors.

Participation Commitments

• 📍 Physical Attendance
• Must attend relevant events and training sessions organized by KITS.
• 🎤 Presentation Requirement
• Must deliver presentations or pitches as part of the program requirements.
