Eureka Innowwide Call 5 (5th Innowwide call for market feasibility projects – Autumn 2026)

About

Eligible innovative SMEs can receive a €60,000 fixed grant for a six-month project that tests the technical, commercial, legal or socioeconomic feasibility of their innovation in a target market outside Europe, working with an independent local subcontractor.

• 70% of the grant, €42,000, is provided at the beginning of project implementation.

  The remaining 30%, €18,000, is transferred at the end of the obligatory six-month project after delivery and acceptance of a complete Final Report; the grant may be reduced or recovered if the report is insufficient.
• 🧾
  Eligible costs include personnel, subcontracting, travel and subsistence, equipment depreciation, other goods, works and services, and indirect costs at a 25% flat rate of total direct eligible costs excluding subcontracting, with total eligible project costs of at least €86,000 and beneficiary self-funding above €60,000.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must be a legally constituted SME under EU Recommendation 2003/361 in an EU Member State, Iceland, Israel, Norway, Switzerland, Türkiye, or the United Kingdom
• Applicant SME must have been legally established for at least two years by the call deadline, i.e. on or before 1 December 2024, irrespective of parent, sister or affiliated entities
• Applicant must not have received funding under any previous Innowwide call in 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025
• Project must include an independent local partner/main subcontractor legally established in the target country and not a subsidiary or affiliate under common control
• Application must be complete in English, including the application form, mandatory workplan template and all declarations, including the main subcontractor’s commitment
• Project must have an exclusive focus on civil applications
• Project must have a duration of six months
• Total eligible project costs must be at least €86,000, with subcontracting costs above zero
• Project must include a combination of eligible market and technical activities from sections 1, 2 and 3 of the guidelines
• Innovation to be explored must have a TRL of at least 4 and not exceed 8 in the target country; TRL 7 is the indicative top limit where further R&I is expected
• Target country must be in Africa, the Americas, Asia or Oceania, and countries where SMEs are eligible for Innowwide, such as Israel and Türkiye, cannot be target countries
• Participating organisations must not have fraud or financial-irregularity convictions, be bankrupt or in the process of bankruptcy, or be an undertaking in difficulty under the EU definition
• Only one application per company may be submitted

Target Location

Applicant SME must be legally established in an EU Member State, Iceland, Israel, Norway, Switzerland, Türkiye, or the United Kingdom; the project must target a pilot market in Africa, the Americas, Asia, or Oceania outside Europe, and countries where SMEs are eligible for Innowwide, such as Israel and Türkiye, cannot be target countries.
