Eligibility Criteria
- Freelance or staff journalists working for independent news organizations in the United States can submit their work on science, public health, technology, or the environment from the preceding calendar year. Media outlets must be based in the United States and not have a large staff or focus on a national audience. Entries can be individual pieces or a series of up to three works on a related theme in broadcast, print, or digital journalism formats.
