The Governments of Canada and São Paulo, Brazil, invite proposals for collaborative R&D projects aimed at developing innovative products, processes, or technology-based services, offering significant funding opportunities for eligible Canadian SMEs and Brazilian partners, with a focus on commercialization and international market expansion.

Benefits

• Up to 50% reimbursement of eligible project costs for Canadian SMEs, up to $600,000 CAD
  Support for collaborative R&D with high commercialization potential

Eligibility Criteria

• Canadian SMEs must be incorporated, profit-oriented, with 500 or fewer employees
• Must have been operational for at least 12 months
• Minimum of 5 full-time employees in Canada
• Must pursue growth through innovative technology-driven products or services
• Brazilian partners must comply with FAPESP PIPE – Phase 2 requirements
• Consortium must include at least one Canadian SME and one Brazilian partner from São Paulo
