About

Up to 20 early- to growth-stage startups can join a free, no-equity 12-week program in Uzbekistan to pilot solutions with AgroBank and its clients, receive mentorship, present at Demo Day and seek up to $500,000 from AgroVentures.

Benefits

  Participation is free of charge, and the public offer states that no fee, equity stake, revenue rights or other property rights are transferred to the Bank, Administrator or AI Station.
• 🤝Pilot project opportunity
  Selected startups may conduct at least one pilot project with AgroBank departments or SME clients, subject to the Bank’s business need and mutual readiness.
• 🧑‍🏫 Mentorship and expert support
  The program states that participants may receive mentoring and expert support, workshops, consultations and weekly sessions with international and regional experts.
• 🎤Demo Day exposure
  Participants may present at a Demo Day / Summit in front of the AgroVentures fund and partner investors.
• 💰Investment access
  Startups that complete the program can attract up to $500,000 from AgroVentures; one source reports a $25,000–$500,000 range and Dealroom says the fund plans cheques of $25,000–$500,000.

Eligibility Criteria

• Mandatory: early- to growth-stage startup with at least a working prototype or MVP.
• Mandatory: team of two to five founders according to Dealroom.
• Mandatory: ability to participate in the approximately 12-week program and, if selected, commit to program activities and at least one pilot project.
• Eligible geography: Uzbekistan-based teams or international teams looking to enter the region.
• Preferred/selection criteria: team competencies, product readiness, relevance to AgroBank or client needs, market potential, scalability and readiness to conduct a pilot project.
• Focus preference: solutions for agriculture, food, rural finance, banks or farmers; the official program portal lists AgriTech, FinTech for AgriBusiness, AI for AgriBusiness and Deep Tech for AgriBusiness, while an AI Station LinkedIn post says startups from all industries may apply.
