Eligibility Criteria

• Be a student in a tertiary institution (university, polytechnic, etc.)
• Apply as part of a team
• Submit an idea addressing one of the energy challenge themes
• Be an innovative SME (fewer than 250 employees)
• Have a digital energy solution (software, AI, data, telecom, etc.)
• Demonstrate innovation and a strong R&D component
• Be beyond ideation stage (pilot or existing solution required)

Participation Commitments

• Applications are currently open, with deadlines May 28, 2026
• Early application is strongly advised
• Clear explanation of how your idea makes money or creates impact is critical
