Eligibility Criteria

• Open to any founder starting a company
• Solo founders are welcome
• Founders who have already raised up to $2M remain eligible
• All PearX teams must be able to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area for the duration of the 12-week program

Participation Commitments

• Apply online through Pear VC's application process
• Selected teams have one interview and a partner meeting to pitch the full team
• All PearX teams must relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area for the duration of the 12-week program
• Each week includes a group check-in, at least one meeting with a Pear partner, and a mix of tactical workshops, speaker events and cohort activities, averaging around 2 hours of group programming per week
• The program runs twice a year: winter cohort from January to April and summer cohort from July to October
• Applications are accepted year-round; PearX W27 regular applications closed on 04 October 2026 at 11:59 PM PST and later applications are reviewed on a rolling basis
• Pear invests $500K to $2M and targets 7% ownership in most companies, with exact terms depending on check size
