A micro accelerator and pitch competition designed for early-stage fintech startups in Africa, offering a platform to present to investors and industry experts at the 16th Africa Fintech Summit. Selected startups will gain valuable exposure, networking opportunities, and feedback from a panel of judges, enhancing their chances for growth and investment.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to early-stage startups in fintech and adjacent industries
• Must have a legally registered business operating in Africa or serving the African Diaspora
• Startup should not have raised more than $1M in external funding
• Must be able to attend the event in Kigali, Rwanda on November 18-19, 2026
• 50% of slots reserved for Rwandan startups

Participation Commitments

• Must attend the AFTSKIGALI26 event in Kigali, Rwanda on November 18-19, 2026
• Submission of a pitch deck and company profile is required upon application
• Must provide details about the startup's operations and funding status
• Participation in the pitch competition is mandatory for selected startups
