The Powering Healthcare Innovation Fund, launched by UNOPS in collaboration with SEforALL, offers grants of up to $80,000 to support innovative solutions for electrifying healthcare facilities in low-income countries, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on sustainability and health equity, and aims to catalyze scalable and replicable pathways for energy access in the healthcare sector.

Benefits

• Up to $80,000 grant per project for innovative solutions in healthcare facility electrification
• Total fund size of $300,000 available for 3 to 6 grantees
• Funding duration of up to 10 months with disbursement in 4 tranches

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to NGOs, foundations, civil society organizations, academic institutions, for-profit companies, and grassroots organizations
• Projects must be implemented in Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, or Zambia
