Startup Prize: Energy 2026

About

A competition offering startups the chance to compete for a grand prize while gaining access to mentorship, networking opportunities, and potential investment from a panel of judges. Participants must attend qualifying events to be eligible for the finals, where they will showcase their innovations in the energy sector.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must attend at least one qualifying event (either online on May 8-9, 2026, or in-person on June 26-28, 2026)
• Registration is free for both events
• Open to startups at any development stage, from ideation to generating revenue
• International startups can apply if they meet eligibility criteria and attend a qualifying event
• Each startup may register no more than 2 attendees per qualifying event.

Participation Commitments

• Must fully attend at least one qualifying event to be eligible for finals
• Final event will be held in-person in Shreveport, LA on August 28-30, 2026
• Submission of Entrepreneur Portal application by July 6, 2026, at 11:59 PM CT is required
• If selected as a finalist, at least one founder must attend the final event in person.
